As soon as we all thought Apple could do no better, they go and bring out the iPhone 3G, with increased internet speed and a newer design to an already great product. It is, of course, very logical to bring out a new dock suitable for this new model of iPhone. Although the newer model is not massively different in style or function to the previous model, it is designed specifically for this new iPhone, so is far more suitable.
The dock is the new and updated dock model, fitted with a 'line out,' enabling the linking speakers to it. This means that you are able to play music out of speakers connected to the dock. It is compatible with both the 8GB and 16GB models. Obviously, it goes without saying that with the dock, you can sync any files from your PC, while charging the iPhone at the same time.
The great thing about the new iPhone dock and indeed all docks for Apple products is the convenience with which you can continue to use your iPhone while it is syncing and charging. The iPhone is left easily accessible and on display for you, and also, as it is not rubbing on any desk surfaces while syncing from a regular cable, it provides a greater protection from scratches.
This dock is a great accessory to own in addition to any iPhone 3G. After all, why spend all that money on one of the best phones money can buy without using it in style?
